How Kim began her career and her life long
love for horses.....

"My love of horses started at an early age, growing up on my family's ranch in Park City, Utah, skiing through the winter and riding horses in the summer. I had wonderful opportunities to ride in many different disciplines with different breeds of horses from western POA's to Morgans and Arabians. I then found my love for jumping.

I moved from my family and home, at 16 years old, to train in Virginia with renowned show jumping trainers Katie Monahan Prudent and John Madden. As I started this adventure, it became clear to me that riding and training horses was the direction I wanted my life to go. I was fortunate to become a working student for Ms. Prudent, and for the next several years gained great experience.

The next phase of my life landed me in Madison, NJ where I attended Drew University and rode horses for the Leone family in Franklin Lakes, NJ. After two incredible years, I decided that I would persue my desire to be in the horse business. I returned to Virginia to work for Ms. Prudent as Assistant Trainer. Fortunately for me, the barn manager for Ms. Prudent's was one of the best in the country. Under this great horseman, I was exposed to top management and care of horses. this became the solid foundation that my stable Snowbrook runs on today. I take to heart that each horse is an individual and should be cared for that way."
